On average, participants who enroll in this program can expect between 10-40% higher reimbursement rates, but ultimately it depends on your current rates and circumstances. Currently, the following payors are included: Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross of Californiam, Blue Shield of California, Blue Shield of North Carolina, Blue Shield of Tennessee, Centivo, Cigna Healthcare, Florida Blue, Health Net, Oscar Health, MHN. We expect to add several major insurance payoers in the near future.

The sign-up process takes just 3 simple steps to complete. 1) First, you’ll speak with a program specialist who can clear up any questions you may have. 2) Second, we will send you an email confirmation of enrollment and a new contract which formalizes your higher reimbursement rate with your selected payers. 3) Finally, you’ll start the credentialing process; credentialing typically takes 1-2 weeks. But don’t worry, you will have support from Octave throughout this process. Once you complete the paperwork, you’ll be eligible to set your availability and start receiving new in-network referrals!

Joining the program is simple, and we’ll handle most of the heavy lifting for you. Once you enroll within Ensora Mental Health and sign the contract for your new rates, Octave will take care of credentialing you with major payers that vary by state. After credentialing is complete, we ask that you leave three weekly slots open for external referrals on your schedule in Ensora Mental Health—this helps ensure a new client can see your open availability and book an appointment. You’re still free to book your own clients into these slots if needed, but keeping them open allows us to send new referrals your way. If you ever need to adjust your availability, you can do so in Ensora Mental Health. As part of the program, you’ll also be required to participate in measurement-based care by submitting brief outcome measures (such as GAD-7, PHQ-9) at the end of treatment to help track client progress.

Due to the high quality, measurement-based behavioral care that you provide to clients, Octave is able to offer you premium rates as long as you’re credentialed with major payors in your state. For Cigna Healthcare specifically, premium rates are available through Octave’s partnership with Evernorth Behavioral Care Group.
